- Obtain a sterilised container from a nearby laboratory or authorised medical store.
- Rinse the container with the same water intended for testing.
- Allow water to flow for a few minutes to flush the pipeline.
- Collect the sample from the midstream flow.
- Do not touch the inside of the bottle, opening, or inner side of the cap.
- Submit the sample within 48 hours of collection.
- Depending on the test selected, the sample may be retained for up to one week.
Important: Improper sample collection or delayed submission may affect the accuracy of test results.
